Would you give up again?

The girl in the picture is Katie Kirkpatrick, she is 21 . Next to her, her fiancé, Nick, 23. The picture was taken shortly before their wedding ceremony, held on January 11, 2005 in the US. Katie has terminal cancer and spend hours a day receiving medication. In the picture, Nick is waiting for her on one of the many sessions of quimo to end.

In spite of all the pain, organ failures, and morphine shots, Katie is going along with her wedding and took care of every detail. The dress had to be adjusted a few times due to her constant weight loss.

An unusual accessory at the party was the oxygen tube that ketie used throughout the ceremony and reception as well. The other couple in the picture are Nick's parents. Excited to see her son marrying his high school sweetheart.

Katie, in her wheelchair with the oxygen tube , listening a song from her husband and friends.

At the reception, katie had to take a few rests. The pain do not let her to be standing up for long periods.

Katie died five days after her wedding day. Watching a women so ill and weak getting married and with a smile on her face makes us think..... Happiness is reachable, no matter how long it last. We should stop making our lives complicated.

Life is short
Break the rules
forgive quickly
kiss passionately, love truly
laugh constantly
And never stop smiling
no matter how strange life is Life is not always the party we expected to be
but as long as we are here, we should smile and be grateful.

Sorry for the Disturbance

Heyyyyyyyyyyyy everybody, I have truly missed you!

I have been doing fine the last couple of days :). I have been thankful and grateful to God for all the blissings I have been awarded. I am really blessed :)

Afew days a go, I went to Bahrain for a change. When I went to the movies, I was shocked with the stupid movies they are showing "My Mom's Boyfriend", "The Tattoist", and many rotten movies that I watched a year ago maybe!

My sister suggested the Egyptian movie "Sorry for the Disturbance" stared by Ahmed Helmi and Mennah Shalabi. I haven't ever watched an Egyptian movie in the the movies but accepted watching it reluctantly since we were out of options.

However, the movie turned out to be GREEEEEEEEEEEAT!!
The plost is amazing, the characters as well. I really didn't believe it!

I don't wanna ruin it, but trust me it is totally different form the sterotyped movies you have heard of.

P.S. Hopefully, great events will take place in my life. I don't wanna rush and tell you what is it. Let's just wait :)

Love is blind

Do you believe in the saying :Love is blind?!

The picture you see is a real one with no photoshop interference. The Holandi guy in the picture sewed his eyes after the tragic death of his girlfriend. She was making him breakfast when her gas cylinder expoded and caused her death.

He was devastated, couldn't believe what happened. He decided to sew his eyes because he doesn't want to see any other girl at all!!

I am speechless...

Nights in Rodanthe

My dose of movies watching is never ever ending. I finished downloading this movie two days ago and couldn't wait till I watch it the other day. I would be away from my nephews and nieces nagging over my head I said and I was right.

I silenced my mobile, put my ear phone on and got involved in the movie. It's a drama, romance type. Just glancing at this picture, you would notice the sexy Richard Gere. OMG, I really love him, I really do and I would stand up in the aisle saying "I do, I do, I do" for him even if he got the worst smell ever!!

This guy is a live example that getting older doesn't kill a guy's romance. I am difinetly not talking about the kind of romance Saudi guys have since I am Saudi, oh sorry they don't. Romance is a word that you would never find while looking up "Saudi Guys Dictionary". I always answer when asked about romance saying it died with those 1% of Saudi males carrying it.

Well, I have always been asked about the age I would like my man to be when marrying and I answer saying "From 28-35". After watching Richard Gere in this movie, I started having second thoughts about marrying old guys loool. I am serious people, just have another glance at him in this picture. Look at the way he is holding the heroine. Look at the eyes talk even ith his sunglasses on. Gosh, I am falling for him. Even his white hair makes him more sexier!! Eww with black hair guys, white hair all the way hehehe.

I swear I didn't have the intention of turning my movie preview into a talk about the hero but what can I do, he blinded me ;D.

As I mentioned earlier, the movie is a romantic type. I don't wanna ruin the story because you better watch it romance lovers. It's the real love we all seek girls. It's the eternity no matter what.

Like any romantic movie, it has a sad ending. Its very sad ending changed my mood for the whole movie and made me cry my eyes out!

I give him 10/10 with triple Oscar awards ;) . The scenary, plot, people, music, and ending are all amazing.

P.S. Thanks for whoever uploaded this movie for putting the movie track sounds. I was definitely going to search for them ;)
