Imagine one of your best friends calling you to tell you that she is holding her best news ever!
What do you think her best news would be?!
Since I know A very well, I had many things in mind.
1. She will finally be engaged to the guy she chose not her parents.
2. She got the job she has been dreaming of.
3. Her brother came back from abroad.
4. Her weight became what she desired it to be.
5. No more back aches since her devastating fall.
So many things were roaming in my mind. I was begging her to shoot it out until she did!! I wasn't shocked when she told me about it but didn't expect that! Her best news was that she has done the Virginity Test and she turned out to be Virgin!!
I was lost for words, really speechless but then I started screaming like crazy which made my driver stop in the middle of the way because he freaked out thinking something happened to me!!
I know this option might have never occured to you and is quiet shocking but that's the turth!! A was sexually abused by two of her male relatives when she was a child, her brother and uncle!! That happened repeatedly from her uncle more than her teenaged brother! What she rememberes vividly is her uncle asking her not to wear pants when he is around! Why!! I leave it for you to do the imagination concerning a 8 years old girl with a 25 years old man who is supposingly an uncle to her!!

It shows how monster's side people have. When it's supposed from the nearest people to be protective, they turned to be attackers! I wouldn't like to cry over past matters now, like I usually do, but all responsibility lay on parents. If they are close enough to their daughter, they will know about this from the first place it happened. You were in shock for just listening to her story let alone, she, the one who were a victim. This girl is a prey and she deserves from, not only from you, but from all people to support her and to stand her side.

SubhanaAllah, brother and uncle to an 8 years old! How sick are people these days! Please tell me they're in jail or something! This is horrible!

I'm so interesting about this topic, I had done some research about rape in kuwait and I've heard enough about some families hidden their privacy, even a mother knows when a daughter confess her before getting married that one of our relatives had inter sexual with her or bfs and stuff, nothing new really, but it is just shocking absolutely that OMG they're kids. ill be waiting for part 2. hey how come i dont see you around :/
I'm not suprised. It's more common than people think. All I know is when I have kids of my own, I'm keeping a close eye on them. After all, the abuser is almost always a close family member.
May Allah save us from such people.

UNFORTUNATELY, this is not the first time i have heard or read about this in our society. allah Yisami7hom, God gave them a responsibilities, this is what they show for it, how will they ever explain themselves in front of him!
A friend told me about her abuse by her uncle when she was kid. She couldn't do anything and neither could her mom.
It horrifies me to even wonder how many such cases are there here in Kuwait...

Salaam! I'm new here...I deeply sympathize with your friend...because I was a victim too. I was only 5 then and my uncle, let's just say I was lucky that my innocence is still intact.
I wasn't able to tell my mom, because I was afraid, he was her brother. I will never have the chance to do so, ever, because my uncle is already dead for so many years now.
I hope your friend gets over the whole thing and live a peaceful life.
